Does your tow vehicle get that old, sagging feeling in the rear when you hook up the boat? Don't feel bad. There is a solution: Add air-bag springs to your tow vehicle.
When the rear of the tow vehicle squats because of tongue weight, it causes multiple problems. The most dangerous is the loss of steering control and braking capacity caused by the front of the vehicle being lifted and the suspension system being unevenly loaded. Other problems caused by a sagging rear include up-tilted headlights that blind oncoming traffic and bottoming of the tow vehicle's rear end. Adjustable air springs can solve these problems by keeping the vehicle at the correct ride height.
